The Office for Public and Community-Engaged Scholarship (PACES) welcomes applications for the Grants & Data Coordinator! Consistent with the campus mission and strategic priorities, the primary role of this position will be to manage the office grants program and supervise the collection, analysis, and reporting of data about the campus' public and community-engaged scholarship.The PACES Grants and Data Coordinator reports to the Assistant Director for Communications and has multiple responsibilities, including: coordinating and administering the PACES grants program; assisting with the management of the online system (Collaboratory) for collecting information about community-engaged scholarship of the Boulder campus; and assisting with tracking and reporting data related to campus' engaged scholarship initiatives and PACES' programming. The Office for Public and Community-Engaged Scholarship (PACES) serves the Boulder campus and the state by: cultivating community-engaged scholarship opportunities for faculty, staff, and students; advocating for community-engagement initiatives embedded in the academic role and mission of the university; facilitating connections among campus units and community-engagement programs; coordinating and supporting efforts that connect campus and external constituencies and communities; and communicating community-engaged scholarship activities and stories to a variety of audiences.
What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Manage Online Data Collection System:
- Assist with the management of the online platform (Collaboratory) used to collect information about the public and community-engaged scholarship of the Boulder campus.
- Assist faculty and staff members with entering their engaged scholarship activities and answering their questions.
- Work to ensure the data is as up-to-date as possible.
- Coordinate training sessions about Collaboratory for campus constituents.
- Work with PACES team members and campus partners to increase awareness and encourage the use of the Collaboratory system.
- Serve as the liaison between PACES and Collaboratory vendors for day-to-day management issues.
- Respond to requests from campus and university system administration for information regarding public and community-engaged scholarship activities and generate reports using Collaboratory and other sources.
- Collect and summarize data from PACES grant applications and reports.
- Implement systems to track data related to PACES office programming.
- Contribute to the creation of PACES' biennial impact report.
- Coordinate PACES grant-making process.
- Implement selection committees' directions for updating guidelines, post and disseminate calls for proposals, respond to general questions from applicants, etc.
- Manage submissions through the online application system (OpenWater platform).
- Collaborate with PACES team members to provide information sessions and individual applicant consultations.
- Provide logistical support for grant selection committees (scheduling and organizing meetings, assisting the committee chair with meeting facilitation, taking detailed notes during committee deliberation meetings, and managing follow-up tasks).
- Notify applicants of committee decisions and provide feedback upon request.
- Work with the Continuing Education accounting department to coordinate the grant fund distribution, track grant budgets, and assist with the reclamation of unspent funds.
- Track the progress of funded projects and manage the submission and review of status reports.
- Provide lists of grant recipients for announcements and website updates.
- Engage in relevant professional development activities and trainings.
- Participate in team, office, and division meetings and activities as necessary.
What You Should Know
This is a hybrid position requiring 2-3 days per week on campus. Working hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00a-5:00p.
What We Can Offer
The starting salary range for this position is $48,000-$54,000 annually.

What We Require
Bachelor's degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute.
What You Will Need
- Experience with tracking, organizing, and analyzing data.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Evidence of organizational and management skills-detail-oriented, conscientious, reliable, respectful, and communicative.
- Experience with project management and digital collaboration tools.
- Ability (and desire) to work well as a member of a team, able to balance roles of leadership and followership as necessary for accomplishing organizational goals.
- Demonstrated capacity to take initiative, to develop a personal work plan that identifies realistic and strategic objectives.
